What is "Riso"? Riso or Risograph are a brand of printing machines that are a sort of hybrid of silkscreen printing and traditional offset printing. Using environmentally friendly inks (either soy or rice husk based), rather than heated toner like photocopiers, they are primary used for their speed at printing. But they are also cherished by the arts community for their grainy, almost old fashioned print look.OUR RISO SPECS:
At the moment we only have one ink for our Risograph machine; black. Our maximum image size is 8.5" by 14", but we can print on maximum 11" x 14" paper. So please only submit images that will be printed in black and white and do not exceed that image size. If you have a preference for paper color please let us know.We are looking into expanding our printing to include full colour Riso in the future.
